CSSPS Self-Placement Ghana 2025 – Step-by-Step Guide – Apply Here!

Are you a BECE candidate looking for the CSSPS self-placement 2025 process in Ghana? If you were not automatically placed into a Senior High School (SHS) or TVET institution through the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), don’t worry. You still have the chance to select a school of your choice via the CSSPS self-placement portal.

In this detailed blog post, we’ll explain what self-placement is, how to do it successfully, important dates, and tips to avoid mistakes.

What is CSSPS Self-Placement?

The CSSPS self-placement is a module that gives BECE candidates who did not get automatic placement the opportunity to choose schools with available vacancies. This process ensures every qualified student can still enroll in an SHS or TVET school for the academic year.

With self-placement, candidates can:

• Select a region of preference.
• Choose boarding or day school options.
• Pick a programme of study (Science, Business, Arts, Technical, Vocational, etc.).
• Select from the list of schools with vacancies.

CSSPS Self-Placement Release Date

The school placement results are released shortly after BECE results. Candidates can check placement details on the CSSPS portal: cssps.gov.gh. If your name does not appear in the automatic placement list, you’ll see a self-placement option.
