The 2023/2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has been a topic of anticipation and curiosity among students and parents alike.
After a rigorous week of examinations from Monday, August 7 to Friday, August 11, candidates have been eagerly awaiting news about when they can expect their results.

BECE 2023/2024 Script Marking Schedule
- Zonal/Team Leaders Coordination: The coordination phase is scheduled to take place on the 2nd and 3rd of October, 2023.
- Assistant Examiners: From the 4th to the 6th of October, 2023, assistant examiners will be actively involved in the process, contributing their expertise to the evaluation of the examination scripts.
- Marking Commences: The marking of BECE scripts is set to commence on the 9th of October, 2023, and will continue until the 23rd of October, 2023. This is the heart of the process, where the dedicated team of examiners will diligently evaluate and grade the papers.
BECE 2023/2024 Results Release Date
After much anticipation, we are thrilled to share with you the expected release date for the BECE results. Based on the outlined marking schedule, it is highly likely that the results will be officially released on November 9, 2023.

BECE 2023/2024 Statistics
A remarkable 600,714 candidates participated in the BECE this year. The examination saw a balanced representation of both genders, with 300,323 male candidates and 300,391 female candidates sitting for the exams.
An astounding 18,983 schools participated in the BECE and to ensure a seamless examination process, 2,137 examination centers were established, along with 2,137 supervisors and 2,000 assistant supervisors overseeing the examinations with a team of 21,027 invigilators overseeing the examination across all 16 regions of Ghana.
