It is that time of the year again where qualified schools face each other in a contest in the National Science and Maths Quiz Regional competition to determine which school books a slot at the National stage.
The 2025 edition of the NSMQ Regional qualifiers has ended and it is all joy for schools that been won and top their group to secure a seat at the National Championship stage.

NSMQ 2025 National Championship Prelim Contests
Note: There are twenty-seven seeded schools from last year’s NSMQ National Championship that are waiting to be paired with any of the above-listed schools, should they perform well in the next round of the competition.
A Seeded School in the NSMQ is simply a school that makes it from the preliminary stages of the competition to the one-eighth and to the quarter-finals. What this implies is that, all the various schools that win their one-eighth stage contest automatically qualify as a seeded school for the next year.
The relieving thing about being a seeded school in the NSMQ is that, as other schools battle their way from the various regional championship competition, the seeded schools just await them in the National championship.
