The journey to crown Ghana’s brightest science minds continues as the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2025 advances to its One-Eighth Stage. After five days of intense Preliminary contests held from 20th to 24th October 2025, 27 sets of schools have now booked their places in the next round of the national championship.
The NSMQ, organized by Primetime Limited in partnership with the Ghana Education Service (GES) and sponsored by GOIL, has become a symbol of academic prestige, showcasing logic, speed, and teamwork among Ghana’s top senior high schools.
What’s Next: One-Eighth Stage Overview
The One-Eighth Stage runs from 26th to 28th October 2025, featuring schools that made it through the preliminaries and seeded powerhouses from last year’s competition. Winners from this round will progress to the Quarter-Finals (30th Oct – 1st Nov), followed by the Semi-Finals (3rd Nov), and the Grand Finale on 6th November 2025.
