The Management of the Ghana Education Service has commenced the verification of school choices for students who just completed Junior High School in the country.
This exercise is done for students to check and confirm their school selection choices on the Computerized School Selection and Placement System to make sure students have the right schools they chose.
The verification process ensure accuracy in students’ choice information before they are placed in their selected second cycle schools.
According to GES, students, parents / guardians will receive SMS message from the CSSPS which contains web portal: csspsverify.com and USSD short code number *899*88# with 4 digit token number.
Students who may have errors in their initial selection have been urged to call 0556541525 or click on the edit button available on the web portal after the selection details displayed with a copy of the original selection form.
Students can also send an email with the copy of the original selection for to cssps2021@gmail.com.
It is to be noted that this exercise is not to change schools but to confirm initial choices selected.
The verification exercise commenced on January 14, 2023 and will come to an end on January 22, 2023.
