In a recent announcement, the leadership of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has disseminated crucial information regarding the renewal of Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) PIN/AIN for the year 2024.
This renewal process is aimed at ensuring that all members are up-to-date and compliant with the necessary regulations.
Renewal Process for GRNMA Members
1. Completion of CPD Courses on GRNMA Infonet
All GRNMA members in good standing are required to utilize the INFONET WEB platform at grnmainfonet.com to fulfill their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses on the GRNMA Infonet.
2. Registration for New Members and Previous Non-USSD Users
a. Dial *928*8#
b. Follow the prompts to complete PIN/AIN registration on the GRNMA INFONET SYSTEM.
c. Download the GRNMA INFONET APP, install it, and complete the requested profile details.
d. Log into the GRNMA INFONET WEB @ grnmainfonet.com to complete CPD courses for PIN/AIN renewal.
3. Correction of PIN/AIN Mismatch
For members experiencing PIN/AIN mismatch due to recent cadre conversion or entry errors, they should use the “EDIT MEMBERSHIP DETAILS” option after logging into the GRNMA INFONET WEB to rectify the details.
Those with other mismatches not related to entry errors should seek assistance at their respective N&MC regional offices.
4. Await Feedback from N&MC
Upon successful completion of the required CPD courses, members are advised to wait for feedback from the N&MC regarding their PIN/AIN renewal status.
5. Expired PIN/AIN Beyond One Year
Members whose PIN/AINs have expired beyond one year are instructed to visit their respective N&MC regional offices to settle any renewal arrears with the Council.
Important Notes
The GRNMA emphasizes that the annual PIN/AIN renewal covers only the preceding year. For members with expired PIN/AIN cards, a visit to the nearest N&MC office is necessary for card replacement. The renewal fees for the PIN/AIN will be fully covered by the GRNMA for members in good standing.
Caution
Members in good standing with the GRNMA are explicitly warned against paying PIN/AIN renewal fees for the year 2024 directly to the N&MC.
