Payment Dates for the First Half of 2026

According to the release, government workers will receive their January 2026 salaries on the 23rd of January, marking the earliest payment in the year.

Salaries for the following four months — February, March, April, May and June 2026 — will all be paid on the 26th of each month, ensuring consistency in salary disbursement during the first half of the year.

Mid-Year Payments: July to September 2026

In the second half of the year, July, August, and September 2026 salaries will follow a similar pattern. Workers will be paid on the 27th of July, the 27th of August, and the 25th of September, respectively.

The CAGD clarified that these dates are aligned with the department’s operational timelines and bank processing schedules, ensuring all workers are credited on time.

Final Quarter Salary Dates for 2026

The October 2026 salary will be paid on the 26th, while the November salary will be credited on the 25th.

In line with tradition, the December 2026 salary will be paid earlier than usual — on the 21st of December — to allow public sector workers to prepare financially for the Christmas festivities.

The CAGD added that banks will begin crediting employees’ accounts on these specified dates, emphasizing that any changes to the schedule will be officially communicated.
