In anticipation of the forthcoming 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections, the Electoral Commission of Ghana is actively seeking dedicated individuals to serve as Returning Officers and Deputy Returning Officers. This recruitment drive aims to ensure the smooth conduct of the electoral process across various regions of the country.

Prospective candidates interested in these crucial roles are encouraged to submit their applications via email to the respective addresses listed below, based on the region they wish to work in. Along with their application letters and CVs, applicants must clearly indicate the position they are applying for, as well as their preferred Region, District, and Constituency.

Duration and Qualification
Successful applicants will be engaged for all three major activities planned by the Electoral Commission for 2024, including the Voter Registration Exercise, Exhibition of Voters Register, and the General Election.
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must possess a minimum academic qualification of a First Degree in any field of study. A Master’s degree would be advantageous. Additionally, applicants should demonstrate technical proficiency in computer skills, quantitative and analytical abilities, and experience in collating data. Personal competencies such as physical and mental alertness, integrity, teamwork, and political neutrality are also highly valued.
