The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the commencement of the 2024 Application for Promotion Interview for Non-Teaching Staff. This presents a significant opportunity for qualified serving Officers to vie for promotion to various grades within the organization.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria to be considered for promotion. Firstly, they should have been promoted to their present grade on or before September 1, 2019, and must have continuously been at their post since that date, with the exception of periods of approved absence. Additionally, applicants must possess a very satisfactory work history and conduct within the Ghana Education Service.

Mode of Application
Applicants are required to complete the application form available on the official promotion portal at gespromotions.gov.gh. Along with the form, they must upload a passport-sized photograph and their last Promotion, Upgrading, or Appointment Letter. Applicants with Masters or Doctorate Degrees must also upload their certificates.
All documents must be in PDF format, except for the passport-sized photograph, which should be clear and readable.
Deadline for Application
The deadline for the online application for promotion is March 31, 2024. It is crucial for applicants to adhere to this deadline to ensure their eligibility for consideration.
Accessing the Promotion Portal
To access the promotion portal and begin the application process, all applicants must log on to gespromotions.gov.gh starting from Monday, February 26, 2024.
Important Note on Continuous Service
Applicants who have not been continuously at their post since September 1, 2019, must have sought permission and received approval for any periods of absence. Failure to meet this requirement will result in disqualification from the promotion process.

I didn’t get any test message as I was filling my information on the promotion portal and I can’t assess it again but am yet to upload my certificate and picture. Please what do I do?
