The Ghana TVET Service has officially opened its 2026 recruitment exercise for qualified teaching, administrative, and support staff across public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions nationwide.
The recruitment process is fully online and allows applicants to complete their applications from anywhere in Ghana without visiting any office until they receive their final posting and appointment letter.

Overview of the Ghana TVET Recruitment Process
The Ghana TVET Service recruitment exercise is conducted in five major phases. Each stage must be completed successfully before an applicant can move to the next stage.
The Service has advised all applicants to carefully follow the application procedures and submit only genuine documents to avoid disqualification.
Step 1 – Pay Application Fee and Get Voucher Code
The first stage of the recruitment process requires applicants to make payment through the official USSD shortcode.
After successful payment, applicants will receive:
- A unique voucher code via SMS
- Access credentials for the recruitment portal
The voucher code remains valid throughout the entire recruitment cycle.
Applicants will then use:
- Their phone number
- Voucher code
to log in to the portal and begin the application process.
Step 2 – Complete Online Profile
After accessing the portal, applicants must complete their personal profile with accurate information.
Applicants will be required to provide:
- Full name
- Ghana Card details
- Contact information
- Educational background
- Employment history where applicable
It is important to ensure that all information entered matches official documents.
Step 3 – Upload Required Documents
Applicants must upload certified copies of all required documents.
These include:
- Ghana Card (front and back)
- Academic certificates
- Academic transcripts
- National Service certificate
- Professional certificates
- Passport-size photograph
The Ghana TVET Service noted that unclear or incomplete documents may affect the screening process.
Step 4 – Browse Vacancies and Apply
Once profile completion is successful, applicants can browse available vacancies by:
- Region
- Department
- Job category
Applicants should carefully select positions that match their qualifications and experience.
At this stage, candidates will also:
- Upload CV
- Upload cover letter
- Answer job-related questions
- Submit formal applications online
Step 5 – Screening and Verification
After submission, the Ghana TVET Service begins the screening and verification process.
Officials will verify:
- Academic qualifications
- Professional certificates
- National Service records
- Identity details
- Employment history where necessary
Applications containing false information or forged documents will be disqualified immediately.
Step 6 – Shortlisting of Qualified Applicants
Only applicants who meet all requirements will be shortlisted.
Shortlisted candidates will receive notifications through:

- Portal dashboard updates
The Service emphasized that meeting the minimum requirements does not automatically guarantee selection.
Step 7 – Posting and Appointment
Successful applicants will be assigned to various TVET institutions across the country.

Physical reporting will only be required after official posting has been completed.
Important Eligibility Requirements
Before applying, applicants must ensure they meet all eligibility requirements.
Ghanaian Citizenship
Applicants must be Ghanaian citizens and possess a valid Ghana Card.
Educational Qualification
Qualifications differ depending on the category applied for.
Teaching applicants are expected to possess:

National Service Certificate
