The Volta-Oti Zonal Championship witnessed an exhilarating display of intellectual prowess during the quarterfinal and semifinal contests.

In the Volta-Oti Zonal Championship, six exceptional schools emerged victorious from the quarterfinal contests. These schools were then grouped into two, with three schools in each contest for the semifinals. The competition was intense as the participants battled it out for a chance to claim the ultimate victory.
Contest 1
In Contest 1, Mawuli School, Bishop Herman College, and Abor SHS. Mawuli School secured a remarkable score of 37 points. Bishop Herman College also put up a commendable performance, earning 30 points. Although Abor SHS showed their determination, they accumulated a score of 12 points, falling slightly behind the other schools in the contest.

Contest 2
In Contest 2, Keta SHTS, Anlo SHS, and Kpando SHS competed fiercely to secure a spot in the final round. Keta SHTS displayed an extraordinary level of expertise, scoring an impressive 43 points. Anlo SHS managed to accumulate a respectable score of 28 points. Despite their best efforts, Kpando SHS scored 13 points, narrowly missing out on advancing to the final contest.

After the completion of the semifinal contests, the two winners from each group, Mawuli School and Keta SHTS, emerged as clear champions. However, according to the rules of the competition, one highest-scoring semifinal runner-up also earns a place in the final round.
In this case, Bishop Herman College secured the highest score among the semifinal runners-up, thereby completing the trio of schools for the highly anticipated final contest.
