In an exciting development for the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz Championship, the organizers, Primetime, have extended a warm invitation to St. Joseph Seminary SHS and Nkoranza SHTS.
This invitation comes as both schools displayed remarkable prowess by garnering 39 points each in their respective Regional/Zonal qualifiers competition.
As the competition gears up for its commencement on September 26, the Preliminary stage balloting has added an intriguing twist.
With seven private schools already added to this year’s competition, a total of 115 schools are set to participate, comprising 108 from Regional Qualifiers and the aforementioned private institutions.
In light of this expanded lineup, there will be a total of 39 contests at the Preliminary stage. However, one contest is slated to feature only one school, creating an imbalance in the competition.
To rectify this and ensure a complete set of contests, Primetime, the driving force behind NSMQ, decided to extend a well-deserved invitation to St. Joseph Seminary SHS and Nkoranza SHTS.
This move not only adds to the excitement and competitiveness of the National Championship but also acknowledges the exceptional performance and potential exhibited by these two schools during their qualifiers.
