Eligibility Criteria for GES Vehicle Maintenance Allowance

For teachers and non-teaching staff aspiring to qualify for the GES vehicle maintenance allowance, there are certain prerequisites that need to be met:

  1. Senior Staff (Above Salary Level 16)
  2. Have spent Six (6) years in the service
  3. An applicant does not occupy a position where an official vehicle has been assigned

Senior Staff (Above Salary Level 16): Individuals at or above salary level 16 are eligible to apply for the allowance. This provision ensures that more experienced staff members are given the opportunity to benefit.

Service Tenure: Applicants must have dedicated six (6) years of their professional life to the GES. This requirement underlines a commitment to the service and a sustained contribution over time.

Non-Occupancy of Official Vehicle: To be eligible, applicants should not currently hold a position where they have been assigned an official vehicle. This condition ensures that those who genuinely require vehicle maintenance support receive it.
