The University of Cape Coast (UCC), under the guidance of the Registrar’s office and the Directorate of Academic Affairs, has officially released its academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic year.
This comprehensive calendar outlines the various programs and activities slated for the upcoming academic year, complete with their respective start and end dates.
The document, bearing the signature of Gideon Enoch Abbeyquaye, Esq., the Director of Academic Affairs, has unveiled a unique schedule in comparison to other universities in Ghana.
While most institutions are gearing up to commence their academic activities in 2024, UCC is set to kickstart its academic year on October 16, 2023.
According to this official document, fresh students have been scheduled to report to the university on November 18, 2023, marking the beginning of their academic journey at UCC. Continuing students, on the other hand, are expected to make their way to the campus on November 25, 2023. Lectures for all students are set to commence on November 27, 2023.
As part of this semester’s activities, examinations are scheduled to take place from March 14 as the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year is projected to conclude on March 30, 2024.
