The Controller and Accountant General’s Department has released the salary payment dates for the months of 2024 for salaried workers on the Government of Ghana’s payroll system.
In a memo available to us and signed by Kwasi Kwaning-Bosompem; Ag. Controller & Accountant-General, all parties and stakeholders are to take note of this announcement.
“Notice has been given that the year 2024 salaries and wages of civil servants, the Ghana Education Service (GES) and all other public servants paid by the Controller & Accountant-General’s Department will be paid on the dates indicated below”, the memo stated.
Salaries and wages of civil servants, the Ghana Education Service and all other public servants for the month of January and February 2024 will be paid on 22nd whiles October will be on 24th.
Payment date for the month of April, July and November will be on 25th whereas March and September will be made on 26th.
27th will see payment of May, June and August 2024 salaries while December will be paid on 19th. The various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees from the dates indicated above.
The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has assured that any change in the above dates will be communicated to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies and respective Banks.
