The Controller and Accountant General’s Department has released the salary payment dates for the months of 2025 for salaried workers on the Government of Ghana’s payroll system.
In a memo available to us and signed by Kwasi Agyei; Controller & Accountant-General, all parties and stakeholders are to take note of this announcement.
“Notice has been given that the year 2025 salaries and wages of civil servants, the Ghana Education Service (GES), and all other public servants paid by the Controller & Accountant-General’s Department will be paid on the dates indicated below,” the memo stated.
Salaries and wages of civil servants, the Ghana Education Service, and all other public servants for the month of January and May 2025 will be paid on the 22nd, while April and October will be on the 23rd.
Payment dates for the months of June, August, and September will be on the 25th, whereas July and November will be paid on the 24th.
February and March will be made on the 20th. Finally, December 2025 salaries will be paid on the 18th.

The various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees from the dates indicated above.
The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has assured that any change in the above dates will be communicated to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies, and respective banks.
