The Ghanaian education sector has been abuzz with eager anticipation as parents, students, teachers, and stakeholders eagerly await the outcome of the 2023 West African Senior School Certification Examination’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The non-profit organization overseeing the BECE recently completed the meticulous process of marking the exam scripts. From the zonal/team leaders’ coordination phase to the detailed work of assistant examiners, educators across the country dedicated themselves to carefully assessing the answer sheets of thousands of students.

Despite the successful completion of the marking phase, the burning question on everyone’s lips was, “Have the 2023 BECE results been released?” Up until yesterday, the answer had been a resounding “NO.”
