The University of Cape Coast is gearing up for a vibrant start to the academic year with a detailed plan outlining the re-opening arrangements for the first semester of 2023/2024.
As students and staff eagerly anticipate the new academic journey, here is a breakdown of the key dates and activities to mark in the calendar.
Registration of Courses
Continuing Students
- Online registration kicks off on Monday, 13th November, 2023, and concludes on Friday, 22nd December, 2023.
- Fresh Students admitted at Levels 200 and above can register online from Monday, 27th November, 2023, to Friday, 12 January, 2024.
- Fresh Students at Level 100 have their online registration window from Wednesday, 10th January, to Sunday, 13th January, 2024.
Note: Registration will not be permitted after the specified deadlines. Departmental Registration/Examination Officers (DREOs) are expected to have all courses ready before the registration commencement dates.
Arrival of Students
- Continuing and Fresh Students admitted at Level 200 and above are expected to report on Saturday, 25th November, 2023.
- Fresh Level 100 Students are set to report on Saturday, 6th January, 2024.
On-Campus Registration of Courses
For students facing registration challenges, the Students Records Section will be available during the registration period to provide assistance.
Lectures/Payment of Fees
Continuing Students
- Lectures for students at Level 200 and above commence on Monday, 4th December, 2023.
- Level 100 Students will begin their lectures on Monday, 15th January, 2024.
- All continuing students with outstanding fees must settle them, including arrears, before proceeding with registration.
- Fee status for the 2023/2024 academic year can be checked on individual portals.
Orientation/Matriculation
- Fresh students are in for an exciting orientation on Monday, 8th January, and Tuesday, 9th January, 2024.
- The official matriculation ceremony will be held on Saturday, 27th January, 2024.
