In a recent announcement, the Controller & Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has rolled out crucial information for all Government of Ghana (GoG) employees using the GoG payroll system. The focal point of the notice is a significant update on the frequency limit for password changes within the E-payslip platform.
According to the directive issued by CAGD, GoG employees are now restricted to changing their E-payslip passwords only once a month. This aim of this proactive measure is fortifying the security of employees’ accounts and ensuring seamless access to the E-payslip service without any inconvenience.
For those wondering about the process of resetting their passwords, here are simplified steps provided by CAGD:
Simple steps to reset forgotten CAGD payslip password
- Visit the official GoG E-Payslip platform HERE
- Close the pop-up that shows
- Locate and click ‘forgotten password’
- Enter your employee number / staff ID
- Select country
- Enter the mobile number associated with your account
- Enter the verification code shown on the platform
- Click ‘submit’.
Upon successful completion of these steps, a new password will be sent to the mobile number associated with your E-payslip account. This new protocol is designed to enhance the security of E-payslip accounts and streamline the process for GoG employees.
In adhering to these guidelines, GoG employees can be assured of a secure and efficient means of accessing their E-payslip dashboard whenever needed. The Controller & Accountant-General’s Department encourages all employees to familiarize themselves with these changes for a smoother experience in managing their payslip information.
