Ghana Sec. Tech. Sch. are NSMQ 2023 Western Zonal Champions

The Western Zonal Championship for the NSMQ 2023 recently took place, bringing together top schools from the region. After an intense battle, it was Ghana Secondary Technical School that emerged as the Western Zonal Champions, demonstrating their exceptional academic prowess.

The Championship witnessed a thrilling competition among three formidable schools: Fijai SHS, Archbishop Porter Girls’ SHS, and Ghana Secondary Technical School.

Round 1

In the first round, the participants tackled challenging questions, aiming to accumulate points for their respective schools. Ghana Secondary Technical School took an early lead, amassing an impressive 20 points. Archbishop Porter Girls’ SHS and Fijai SHS secured 11 and 7 points, respectively, in this round.

Round 2

The second round continued to test the students’ knowledge and ability to think on their feet. Ghana Secondary Technical School maintained their lead, adding 1 more point to their total, making it 21 points. Archbishop Porter Girls’ SHS and Fijai SHS secured 11 and 9 points, respectively, in this round.

Round 3

As the competition progressed to the third round, the intensity grew, with each school fighting to close the gap or maintain their position. Ghana Secondary Technical School showed their consistency by accumulating 10 more points, bringing their total to an impressive 31 points. Fijai SHS and Archbishop Porter Girls’ SHS followed closely with 22 and 21 points, respectively.

Round 4

In the final and deciding round, the pressure was on as the schools vied for the championship title. Ghana Secondary Technical School remained strong, securing an additional 3 points, bringing their final score to 34 points. Fijai SHS made a valiant effort, accumulating 28 points, while Archbishop Porter Girls’ SHS secured 21 points.

With an outstanding performance across all four rounds, Ghana Secondary Technical School emerged as the Western Zonal Champions of NSMQ 2023.
