The Northern Zonal Championship of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2024 saw intense competition among three exceptional schools: St. Francis Xavier Seminary SHS, Tamale SHS, and Ghana SHS, Tamale. As the competition progressed to the second round, Ghana SHS, Tamale surged ahead, accumulating 29 points. Tamale SHS and St. Francis Xavier Seminary SHS were neck-and-neck with 23 points each.
Round 3
The third round witnessed Ghana SHS, Tamale further extending their lead, reaching 42 points. St. Francis Xavier Seminary SHS followed closely with 36 points, while Tamale SHS lagged behind at 24 points. The gap between the schools widened, but the determination of the contestants remained unshaking.
Round 4
By the end of the contest, Ghana SHS, Tamale emerged victorious with a commendable 45 points, securing their position as the Northern Zonal Champion. St. Francis Xavier Seminary SHS maintained their second place with 36 points, and Tamale SHS finished third with 30 points.
