The education sector in Ghana is buzzing with anticipation as parents, students, teachers, and stakeholders eagerly await the release of the 2023 West African Senior School Certification Examination’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results.

The non-profit organization overseeing the BECE recently completed the initial phases of the marking process. The zonal/team leaders’ coordination phase took place from October 2 to October 3. Following this, assistant examiners took over and began their coordination work from October 4 to October 6.
The actual marking of the 2023 BECE scripts commenced on October 9 and concluded on October 23. During this period, experienced educators carefully assessed the answer sheets of thousands of students across the country, a process that demands meticulous attention to detail.
