Overview of the Certificate II Examination
The Certificate II examination is divided into two parts: the Core Subjects and the Elective Components. The core subjects encompass English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies, and Entrepreneurship. The elective component covers the Trade Area Programmes.
A total of 32,402 candidates, comprising 23,990 males and 8,412 females, from 185 public and private Technical Institutes participated in the examinations held at 120 examination centres nationwide.
Withheld Results
The Commission for TVET has identified 36 students whose results have been withheld pending investigations due to their involvement in various forms of examination malpractices and irregularities.

- Visit the CTVET results portal: Go to ctvet.gov.gh/results.
- Select Series (May/June): Choose the May/June series.
- Select a Region (Eg. Ashanti Region): Pick the region where you took the examination.
- Select Centre: Choose the examination centre you were assigned to.
- Enter Index Number: Input your unique Index Number.
- Enter Reference Number: Provide your Unique Reference Number.
- Select Examination Year (Eg. 2023): Choose the year of the examination.
- Select Programme: Indicate the program level – Access course, Technicians, Advanced, or Diploma.
- Enter Your Email (Optional): Optionally, enter your email for additional communication.
- Click on Fetch Result: Click the button to fetch your result and patiently wait for the window to display your results.
