- 30% of the score from observed teaching practice during internships and out-segment programmes.

3. Subject of Specialisation / Multiple Subject Content
- JHS & SHS Candidates: Write a subject-specific paper (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies).
- Standard Format: 100 multiple-choice questions
- Exception: Mathematics majors write 60 multiple-choice questions.
- Early Childhood & Primary Candidates: Sit for a Multiple Subject Content paper covering English, Mathematics, Science, Creative Art, and Social Studies.
- Format: 100 multiple-choice questions
Who Qualifies to Write the GTLE 2025?
According to the National Teaching Council (NTC), the following candidates are eligible to write the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination 2025:
- Graduates from Colleges of Education who have completed the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme and fulfilled internship and teaching practice requirements.
- University graduates with recognised teaching qualifications such as:
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
- Other NTC-approved teaching qualifications
- Resit candidates who did not meet the pass mark in previous attempts. These candidates may register to rewrite only the failed papers.

GTLE 2025 Pass Mark
To pass the exam, candidates must achieve a minimum of 52% in each paper.

- Subject of Specialisation/Multiple Subject Content: At least 52/100 correct answers (or 31/60 for Mathematics).
