- 1st – 8th September 2025: The Ministry of Education will open the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) portal. During this period, candidates will be able to review their entries, confirm school choices, gender, and other details.
- 9th September 2025: The Ministry will release explainer videos to guide candidates and parents on how to check placements online.
- 17th September 2025: The official date for the release of 2025 SHS/SHTS & TVET school placements. This is the date that students, parents, and stakeholders across the country have been eagerly awaiting.
- 18th September 2025: Call centres and district resolution centres will be set up nationwide to assist candidates who may encounter issues with their placement.
- 18th – 20th October 2025: First-year students are expected to report to their respective schools to begin the 2025/2026 academic year.

The GES Director-General reassured parents, guardians, and candidates that the placement exercise would be conducted fairly and transparently. - Visit the official CSSPS placement portal.
- Enter the 10-digit BECE Index Number followed by the last two digits of the examination year (e.g., 100000000025 for 2025).
- Select or input the Date of Birth used during registration.
- Click on the “Sign in” button to view the placement.
The system will then display the candidate’s assigned Senior High School, Technical, or Vocational institution.
Important Note for Candidates & Parents
- Ensure that the Index Number is entered correctly.
- Use the same Date of Birth provided during the BECE registration process.
- Check the placement early to avoid last-minute congestion on the website.
