A third-year mathematics student, Prosper Owusu, at the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) has lost his life during a hall procession.
The incident occurred on Friday, August 25, 2023, as Prosper and fellow students from Opoku Ware II Hall were engaged in activities around the hall.
Prosper sustained severe injuries as his body caught fire during the procession. He was swiftly rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for urgent medical attention. Tragically, despite all efforts, he passed away on September 1, 2023.
