EP College of Education Principal dies in tragic accident

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the EP College of Education community in Bimbilla is grappling with the untimely demise of its esteemed Principal, Professor James Gurundow.

The somber news struck on a fateful Saturday night as he was returning from a funeral in Jamani, a town nestled in the Bono region, en route to Tamale. Tragically, his journey took an unexpected and devastating turn when his vehicle collided with another car traveling in the opposite direction.

While there were four occupants in Professor Gurundow’s car during the accident, he was the sole fatality in this harrowing incident. His lifeless body has since been transported to the morgue at the Tamale Teaching Hospital, leaving the academic community and beyond in deep mourning.

Mr. Anas Seidu Salifu, the Vice Principal of the college, verified the distressing incident, offering condolences to the grieving family and the college community. As the news spread like wildfire, the management and staff of the college swiftly embarked on their journey to Tamale to pay their respects and provide support during this trying time.

The EP College of Education has not only lost a dedicated leader but also a compassionate educator who has left an indelible mark on the institution and the lives of countless students.
