The Ghana Education Service (GES) has introduced a new system for verifying the appointment letters of newly recruited teachers at the regional level. This innovative approach aims to streamline the verification process and ensure authenticity.
Management has instructed the immediate commencement of document processing for newly recruited teachers. The verification of appointment letters will be done using a QR code printed on each letter. This QR code, when scanned, provides all the necessary information about the recruit, thereby facilitating a seamless verification process.
In addition to the QR code, a verification link has been designed specifically for each Regional Office. This link serves as an extra measure to authenticate the appointment letters, further ensuring that all documents are genuine. The verification link provided to each office acts as the master list for cross-referencing and confirming the authenticity of the appointment letters.
It is important to note that under no circumstances should any Regional Director repost any of the newly recruited teachers. Any issues that arise during this process should be promptly brought to the attention of the Director-General for resolution.
Dr. Eric Nkansah, the Director-General of GES, expressed confidence in the new system, highlighting that this innovative approach will enhance the efficiency and integrity of the recruitment process. The GES encourages all regional offices to support this new verification method to ensure its success.
