The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the Easter break schedule for Form Two students in Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools operating under the Transitional (Double-Track) system. According to the release, students will enjoy a brief Easter holiday from Thursday, 17th April to Monday, 21st April, 2025.
This announcement is targeted at heads of institutions to allow students the chance to travel home and celebrate the Easter festivities with their families if they so desire. However, the GES emphasizes that this break is optional. Students who choose to stay on campus must be appropriately supervised throughout the period.
Key Details:
- Break Dates: Thursday, 17th April to Monday, 21st April, 2025
- Return Date: Tuesday, 22nd April, 2025
- Applicable To: Form Two students in Transitional Track schools
- Optional Break: Students may remain on campus with proper supervision
GES is urging heads of schools to make the necessary arrangements to support students who wish to go home, as well as those who opt to stay on campus. All students traveling home are expected to return on Tuesday, 22nd April, 2025 to ensure academic activities continue without disruption.
