The Ghana Education Service (GES) has unveiled a brand-new website to host appointment letters for the 2024 graduate recruitment exercise. This digital platform, known as the GESMIS Portal, has been designed to simplify the process for graduates to check and print their postings. The portal comes as a relief to many, especially those who were previously on the ‘Pending for Consideration’ list and have now been successfully appointed.
According to GES, the new portal ensures all appointment letters are accessible in one centralized location, eliminating delays and improving transparency in the recruitment process.
How to Access the GESMIS Portal
Graduates can access their appointment letters through the newly launched portal by following these steps:
- Visit the Portal:
Open ges-mis.org in your browser. - Enter Your Login Details:
- Use your NTC Number as both your Username and Password. The NTC Number must correspond exactly with the one you inputted during GES recruitment application.
- Log In:
Click the login button to enter your account. - View and Print Your Appointment Letter:
After logging in, you will find your appointment letter ready for download and printing.
This simple process ensures that graduates can quickly and securely retrieve their letters without unnecessary hassles.
Who Can Use the Portal?
The GESMIS portal is available to:
- All successful 2024 graduate applicants.
- Graduates who were previously marked as ‘Pending for Consideration’ and have since received their postings.
This ensures that all applicants, regardless of prior status, can conveniently access their appointment letters.
Why a New Portal?
The launch of the GESMIS platform addresses long-standing concerns over inefficiency and delays in the GES recruitment process. Many graduates had expressed frustration with previous methods, including server outages and lack of clarity. This new portal is a step toward modernization, offering a reliable and transparent solution for applicants.
The move also signifies GES’s commitment to streamlining its operations, ensuring graduates can focus on preparing for their roles without administrative challenges.
Advice for Applicants
Graduates are encouraged to:
- Log into the GESMIS portal promptly to check their postings.
- Print their appointment letters immediately after accessing them.
- Report any technical challenges or errors directly to GES for swift resolution.
With thousands of graduates accessing the portal, acting quickly is recommended to avoid delays.
For the graduates who have been anxiously awaiting their postings, the launch of the GESMIS portal marks a turning point, providing clarity and a pathway to the next stage of their careers. As they retrieve their appointment letters, the education sector looks forward to welcoming a new cohort of professionals into its ranks.

Graduate applicants demand timeline of releasing appointment letters pending for consideration from GES
GES, with all due respect graduates with the “pending for consideration” still can not access your newly lunched portal.
Even those that are able to have access, it is either blank or it appears “username or password is incorrect” after keying in the username and password.
Tell us what the problem is please.
1. Are the graduates going to get their appointment letters under the new minister of education?
2. How long will it take?
