The Management of the Ghana Education has released the official documents required to grant a teacher with the Service an inter-regional transfer.
Within the Service, there are three (3) different forms of transfers and each one of it has its own required documents to be submitted during application.
The different forms of transfers within the Ghana Education Service are:
- Intra-district transfer
- Inter-district transfer
- Inter-regional transfer
In this guide, GESHub.org has explained what an inter-regional transfer is and list the official documents the Management of GES requires before working on such transfer for teachers.
GES inter-regional transfer
This is the most difficult transfer to be granted. A teacher seeking to get an inter-regional transfer must give the Service a very tangible reason to be granted this form of transfer.
Inter-regional transfer refers to the transfer where a teacher is moved from the region he/she currently is, to another region.
Such transfers are generally granted / approved by the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service.
