In light of recent developments regarding the validation of Ghana Education Service (GES) staff on study leave with pay in tertiary institutions across the Greater Accra Region, the Regional Education Directorate has issued an important update.

Starting this month, July 2024, all GES staff who are on study leave with pay must visit the Regional Education Office for the validation of their salaries. This initiative aims to ensure that staff members are indeed pursuing the courses for which they were granted study leave and are still actively enrolled in their respective programs.

Mandatory Monthly Visits

From the 15th to the 20th of every month, affected GES staff are required to present themselves at the Regional Education Office. During these visits, their names will be captured in the regional nominal roll list. It is crucial to adhere to this schedule, as failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of salary validation for that month.
