Great news for 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates! The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service and the Free SHS Secretariat, has officially launched the Heads of SHS/TVI Portal.
This portal is a game-changer for Senior High Schools, Senior High Technical Schools, and Technical Vocation Institutions, providing Headmasters with unique login details to access crucial information about students placed in their schools.
The portal, accessible at hm.cssps.gov.gh, empowers Headmasters to efficiently manage the placement process. Here is a glimpse of what the portal has to offer:
1. Student Placement Details: Headmasters can view the number of students placed in their school, along with individual grades and aggregate scores.
2. School Information: The portal provides information about the Junior High School attended by the placed candidates, allowing Headmasters to understand the academic background of the incoming students.
3. Vacancy Status: Headmasters can easily track the number of vacancies remaining in their school. This feature is crucial for effective planning and resource allocation.
4. Special Placement: The portal allows Headmasters to add students on a special placement basis, ensuring that every deserving candidate finds a place in their institution.
