The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) is on the brink of commemorating a significant milestone as it reaches its 30th anniversary. Excitement is mounting as the highly-anticipated grand finale is set to take place on Monday, October 30th, at 2:00 PM in the prestigious National Theatre of Accra.
In an addition that elevates its grandeur, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana, has been bestowed with the honor of being the special guest for this momentous occasion.
Following the public announcement of the President of the Republic of Ghana as the special guest at the grand finale of the NSMQ 2023 championship competition, there has been a social media uproar with netizens expressing a desire for the President to engage in solving some Science and Mathematics questions during the event.
A user named Future Spark has suggested, “The President should attempt one Math and two Chemistry questions.”
Edem Grafix Page commented, “He should tackle the Problem of the Day question.”
Edem Mathias requested, “Please, when he arrives, present him with a Mathematics question to see how he fares. We are curious to assess his skills.”
Argon Getrichsoon additionally recommended, “The Problem of the Day should definitely be presented to him for solving.”
This year’s NSMQ grand finale will feature a lineup of prestigious schools, each eager to display their knowledge and skills.
The stage will be graced by seven-time champions, Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, two-time champions, Achimota School, and two-time champions, Opoku Ware School.
