Exciting news has just been announced by the National Service Scheme (NSS) in Ghana! As of Monday, February 12, 2024, the management has rolled out the first batch of pin codes for eligible Ghanaian-trained teachers, marking a significant step in their journey towards fulfilling their mandatory national service for the 2024 academic year.
A total of 13,353 pin codes have been released, paving the way for these educators to embark on a year of service to their nation. This announcement comes as a call to action for all eligible trained teachers to commence the enrollment process promptly.
To kickstart the enrollment process, eligible teachers are required to visit the National Service website at nss.gov.gh. Once there, they will follow a simple online procedure to complete their enrollment. However, it is important to note that a registration fee of GH¢40.00 must be paid at any branch of the ADB Bank or GH¢41.00 via MTN MoMo to gain access to the main enrollment platform.
Enrollment officially begins on Wednesday, 14th February 2024, and will run until Wednesday, 28th February. During the enrollment process, teachers will need to provide their Index Number/Student ID number along with their date of birth for security purposes. Upon entering this information and clicking on ‘Search,’ they will be able to retrieve their NSS pin code.
For those opting to pay through mobile money, clear instructions will be provided on the payment page following the display of the pin code. It is essential to ensure that the payment made via mobile money equals GH¢41.00 to avoid any reversals.
As we embark on this journey together, let us embrace the spirit of service and collaboration, knowing that through our collective efforts, we can make a meaningful impact on the future of Ghana.
