The Management of the National Teaching Council, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, has created an eLearning platform for teachers.
This NTC eLearning platform has been designed and equipped with training programmes for teachers in the Service to sign up for and receive training via online.
So far, the Council has mounted five courses/training programmes. These are;
- Using Teacher Portal Ghana as a District Director
- Teaching in a digital age course
- Mobile learning with multimedia course
- Cybersecurity training for teachers course
- Professional development for teachers
After successfully completing any of the above-stated courses, the accompanying Continuous Development Points will be credited to the teacher’s account.
In addition to points that will be awarded to teachers after completing the course, the National Teaching Council will also send a certificate as evidence for partaking in the course.
To prevent delays in receiving your CPD points on your Teachers Portal Ghana account, NTC has advised that the email address that was used should be used in creating the account on their eLearning platform.
