The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released an official update concerning the 2026 Diploma and Graduate teacher recruitment, following the circulation of unverified recruitment letters on social media.
In an immediate release dated 23rd January 2026, the Service clarified that claims suggesting the commencement of recruitment into GES are false and misleading. Management has urged the public to rely solely on official GES platforms for accurate information.
GES dismisses viral recruitment letters as fake
According to the statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Ghana Education Service, management has sighted a letter circulating online that is purported to announce the start of the 2026 GES recruitment for Diploma and Graduate teachers.
GES has categorically denied issuing such a letter, stating that the document did not originate from the Service and should be treated as fake.
2026 GES Diploma & Graduate recruitment has not started
The Ghana Education Service has officially confirmed that recruitment into the Service has not yet begun. As of now, no application portal has been opened, and no official timelines or guidelines have been released for the 2026 Diploma and Graduate recruitment exercise.
Prospective applicants are therefore advised to ignore any information or links claiming to provide access to the GES recruitment portal.
