A crunch meeting held by the Ministry of Health and the leadership of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association has resulted in the employment of 2019 NAC/NAP nurses/midwives & diploma/degree referral batches.
According to GRNMA, the NAC/NAP 2019 batch who accessed the MoH recruitment portal in November last year are expected to start work latest by March 2023.
These batch of nurses have been assured that the various agencies, that is the GHS, CHAG and the Teaching Hospitals will contact all of them between now and March 2023.
The 2019 Diploma and Degree referral batch are also expected to start work by March 2023 and so the group will be provided with further information in due course.
The leadership of GRNA has therefore cautioned all nurses and midwives not to pay any amount of money to anyone or any entity concerning their postings.
“We have already heard the activities of some scammers who want to use this opportunity to fraudulently take money from vulnerable nurses and midwives”, GRNA shared with GESHub.org.
The Association has assured its members of its commitment and determination to ensuring that all nurses and midwives who have completed their respective course of studies and are duly licensed to practice attain employment within the MoH and its agencies.
