Types of GNAT Mutual Fund Loans

Members of the Teachers Mutual Fund of GNAT have access to Four (4) types of loans. They include:

  1. Personal Loan.
  2. Investment Loan.
  3. Habitat Loan.
  4. Vehicle/Car Loan.

Personal Loan

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and sometimes, we require a financial cushion to navigate through emergencies, unexpected bills, educational expenses, or rental payments.

The GNAT Mutual Fund recognizes this need and offers a Personal Loan to its members, providing financial support precisely when it is needed the most. With a ceiling of GH¢ 35,000.00, members can borrow funds for a duration of up to 48 months.

Investment Loan

For those members who harbor dreams of venturing into investment opportunities such as real estate, property acquisitions, or any other income-generating activity, the Investment Loan is a gateway to realizing these ambitions.

With a generous ceiling of GH¢ 50,000.00, this loan option spans a 60-month period. To be eligible for this loan, members must be optional contributors with a monthly contribution of at least GH¢ 150.00.

Habitat Loan

Home is where the heart is, and the GNAT Mutual Fund understands the importance of secure and comfortable housing, especially as retirement approaches. The Habitat Loan is tailored for members seeking assistance with housing-related concerns, offering a maximum amount of GH¢ 60,000.00 over a span of 60 months.

Vehicle/Car Loan

Owning a vehicle is a milestone that grants both convenience and independence. The Vehicle/Car Loan from GNAT Mutual Fund is designed to aid members in acquiring their own mode of transportation.

With a maximum limit of GH¢ 70,000.00, members can own a vehicle over a period of up to 84 months. It is worth noting that new cars qualify for an 84-month repayment term, while used cars come with a 60-month repayment period.
