The 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz has reached a thrilling stage – the quarter finals! It was a battle of wits, knowledge, and quick thinking, with 27 outstanding schools competing for coveted spots in the semi-finals and, ultimately, the championship trophy.
Day 1 of the quarter finals, which took place on Sunday, October 15, promised a triple treat of contests, with three schools facing off in each. The stakes were high, and the excitement was even higher!
Contest 1
In the first contest of the day, Wesley Girls’ High School, Mpraeso SHS, and Bishop Herman College locked horns in a battle of wits. These bright young minds displayed incredible knowledge and composure, making this contest a nail-biting experience.
Who emerged as the winner? We will reveal the results shortly.
Contest 2
The second contest featured Osei Kyeretwie SHS, Kumasi High School, and Achimota School. This trio displayed their mathematical and scientific prowess, leaving the audience in awe of their skills.

Contest 3
Last but not least, in the third contest of the day, Wesley Grammar School, Anglican SHS, Kumasi, and St. Louis SHS battled it out in a friendly yet intense competition. The crowd could not help but be amazed by the depth of knowledge displayed.
