Following the dissemination of the viral video depicting the violent attack, the police in Cape Coast swiftly apprehended the student responsible for the assault.
He was cautioned with causing harm and assault, highlighting the seriousness of his actions. However, after the cautionary process, he was released to the school’s Headmaster, who is expected to present him in court on Friday.
As for the victim of the attack, he was initially suspended from the school. However, the administration has taken a compassionate approach by recalling him to the institution to ensure his well-being and recovery.
Recognizing the traumatic experience he endured, the school has made arrangements for his medical treatment.
Additionally, a dedicated psychologist has been assigned to provide him with the necessary support and counseling, helping him navigate through the emotional aftermath of the incident.
Adisadel College has not taken this incident lightly. In line with its commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment, the school has suspended all students involved in the incident, including the perpetrator.
This measure was taken pending further investigations into the matter. The school’s administration aims to send a clear message that violence and misconduct will not be tolerated and that appropriate consequences will be enforced for any such behavior.
