CAGD Payslip | Controller increases government workers’ affordability

After uproar from a section of public sector workers in the country regarding non-adjustment in their affordability, the Management of the Controller and Accountant General’s Department has finally made the necessary adjustments.

The adjustment has been made relative to the 30% increment in base pay of public sector workers as agreed by the labour unions and government.

The agreement which was reached on at a meeting on January 12 at the Ministry of Health conference room at Accra indicated that;

1. The base pay on the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS) will be increased by 30% across board for the year 2023 at the existing pay point relativity of 1.7 percent.
2. the effective date for the implementation of the 2023 base pay shall be January 1.

Payment of salary for the month of January confirms that these terms have been successfully fulfilled by the Government of Ghana and the necessary adjustment effected.

However, the increment in workers’ affordability which is seen any time there is salary adjustment for workers was missing.

A section of workers on the Government of Ghana payroll voiced out about the issue and demanded that CAGD rectify the issue with urgency to correct the anomaly.

1. Visit the official GoG e-payslip platform at gogpayslip.com
2. Close or tap ‘Click here to continue’ on the pop-up that shows after the page loads.
3. Enter your Staff ID
4. Enter your Password
5. Enter the confirmation code exactly as shown under your password
6. Click Login
7. Click skip on the pop-up that shows when you log in to your account
8. Locate and click ‘Affordability‘
9. Your affordability, together with other employee details will be displayed.
