CAGD Salary Payment | Controller releases payment dates for 2023

The Controller and Accountant General’s Department has released the salary payment dates for the months of 2023 for salaried workers on the Government of Ghana’s payroll system.

In a memo available to us and signed by Kwasi Kwaning-Bosompem; Ag. Controller & Accountant-General, all parties and stakeholders are to take note of this announcement.

“Notice has been given that the year 2023 salaries and wages of civil servants, the Ghana Education Service (GES) and all other public servants paid by the Controller & Accountant-General’s Department will be paid on the dates indicated below”, the memo stated.

Salaries and wages of civil servants, the Ghana Education Service and all other public servants for the month of January and February 2023 will be paid on 24th whiles April, August and October will be on 26th.

Payment date for the month of December will be on 20th whereas May and September will be made on 26th.

27th will see payment of September, November and December 2023 salaries while March will be paid on 28th. The various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees from the dates indicated above.

The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has assured that any change in the above dates will be communicated to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies and respective Banks.
