Aptitude Test to Be Conducted Online

According to the official notice, the 2025/26 Centralized Recruitment Aptitude Test will be conducted online. Applicants are advised to prepare adequately and are strongly encouraged to take the examination on a computer system equipped with a webcam and microphone, which are mandatory for participation.

The test will be administered in batches based on applicants’ educational qualifications.

Applicant Categories and Order of Testing

Applicants will be tested in the following category order:

  • Category A: NVTI, JHS, Sportsmen/Women, Certificate holders
  • Category B: HND, Degree, and Master’s degree holders
  • Category C: WASSCE applicants

Number of Questions and Pass Mark

The notice further states that:

  • Category A applicants will answer 30 questions
  • Category B and C applicants will answer 60 questions

The official pass mark for the aptitude test has been set at 65 percent. In addition, Category A applicants will be required to undertake a trade test based on their selected trade vacancies as part of the recruitment process.

Official Aptitude Test Dates Announced

The aptitude test will be conducted over a two-week period, starting from:

  • Tuesday, 10th February to Sunday, 22nd February 2026

Category-Specific Test Schedule

  • NVTI/JHS/Sportsmen/Other Certificates:
    Tuesday, 10th – Friday, 13th February 2026
  • HND/Degree/Masters:
    Saturday, 14th – Tuesday, 17th February 2026
  • WASSCE Applicants:
    Wednesday, 18th – Sunday, 22nd February 2026

Applicants are advised to visit their individual e-recruitment portals within their assigned periods to access the test link.

Test Access and Notifications

The test link will be made available exclusively through the applicant’s portal on the specified dates. Qualified applicants will also receive SMS notifications to confirm the availability of the test during their category window.

Applicants who applied to multiple services will be required to take the aptitude test only once, except where applications were submitted under different educational categories across different services or agencies.

Enrollment, Verification and AI Proctoring

Upon clicking the “Start Test” button, applicants will undergo an enrollment process that includes:

  • Webcam calibration and liveness detection
  • Identity verification
  • Internet strength and environmental noise checks

The examination will be conducted under enhanced AI proctoring, featuring live session recording, random screenshots, facial monitoring, and posture tracking to detect any form of malpractice.

  • The test cannot be paused, saved, stopped, or restarted once it begins
  • The system will automatically submit responses once time elapses
  • Each question must be answered before proceeding
  • Impersonation or third-party assistance will attract sanctions
  • A stable internet connection is mandatory throughout the test
  • Applicants must remain within the proctoring frame for the entire duration

Any breach of these rules may result in disqualification.
