What is C-SERP and Why Was It Introduced?

C-SERP—short for the Centralized Services e-Recruitment Portal—is a unified online system developed to standardize recruitment procedures across the various internal security agencies in Ghana.

The platform supports:

  • Harmonisation of recruitment standards and procedures across all agencies
  • Data sharing and coordination, enabling better oversight by the Ministry
  • Transparent and fair job allocation across all regions
  • Efficient processing and verification of applicant information

Additionally, C-SERP aligns with the President’s broader policy objective of promoting equitable access to job opportunities nationwide through a centrally managed and merit-based platform.

Can Applicants Apply to Multiple Agencies?

Yes.
C-SERP allows applicants to apply to more than one agency, provided they meet the qualification criteria for each specific agency. For instance, an individual with both an HND and a Bachelor’s degree may apply under the HND category for one agency and the undergraduate category for another to maximize their chances.

Where and How to Purchase an Application Voucher

Applicants may obtain their voucher through two official channels:

1. Via USSD Code

  • Dial *713*03# on any mobile network
  • Select Purchase Voucher
  • Choose the preferred agency
  • Select a payment method
  • Authorize payment
  • Receive voucher details via SMS (or retrieve via the USSD menu if SMS fails)

2. At GCB Bank Branches

  • Visit any GCB Bank branch nationwide
  • Request a C-SERP voucher from the designated teller
  • Provide all required details
  • Specify the agency
  • Make payment and collect the physical voucher slip

If Voucher Details Are Not Received via SMS

Failure to receive the voucher details after payment is not uncommon. Applicants may retrieve their e-voucher by:

  • Dialing *713*03#
  • Selecting Retrieve Voucher
  • Viewing all vouchers linked to their phone number
