The Centralized Services e-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) has been introduced as part of a national effort toward streamlining recruitment into Ghana’s internal security agencies. For the 2025/26 recruitment cycle, the Ministry has outlined a fully digitized, transparent, and harmonized process designed to enhance efficiency, fairness, and accountability across all participating agencies.
What is C-SERP and Why Was It Introduced?
C-SERP—short for the Centralized Services e-Recruitment Portal—is a unified online system developed to standardize recruitment procedures across the various internal security agencies in Ghana.
The platform supports:
- Harmonisation of recruitment standards and procedures across all agencies
- Data sharing and coordination, enabling better oversight by the Ministry
- Transparent and fair job allocation across all regions
- Efficient processing and verification of applicant information
Additionally, C-SERP aligns with the President’s broader policy objective of promoting equitable access to job opportunities nationwide through a centrally managed and merit-based platform.
Application Timelines (2025/26)
Applicants must take note of the official application window:
- Start of Voucher Sales: Monday, 17th November 2025
- Start of Online Applications: Monday, 17th November 2025 at 12:00 noon
- Deadline for Applications: Friday, 19th December 2025
All interested applicants are advised to complete their applications before the deadline to avoid late-submission challenges.
Participating Agencies
The following four internal security agencies will be recruiting via the C-SERP platform:
- Ghana Police Service
- Ghana National Fire Service
- Ghana Prisons Service
- Ghana Immigration Service
Categories of Applicants
The recruitment covers various academic and professional classifications, including:
1. Professionals
(Medical practitioners, architects, accountants, lawyers, etc.)
- Master’s Degree holders
- First Degree holders
2. General Duties – Senior Officers
- First Degree applicants
3. General Duties – HND Applicants
4. General Duties – SSSCE/WASSCE Applicants
5. Tradesmen/Tradeswomen
(Technical and vocational applicants)
6. Sportsmen and Sportswomen
Can Applicants Apply to Multiple Agencies?
Yes.
C-SERP allows applicants to apply to more than one agency, provided they meet the qualification criteria for each specific agency. For instance, an individual with both an HND and a Bachelor’s degree may apply under the HND category for one agency and the undergraduate category for another to maximize their chances.
