In an official communication from the Management of the Ghana Education Service, it has been announced that the issuance of Assurance letters, a very important step for GES staff seeking repostings, will commence from Monday, 20th May, 2024, and conclude on Wednesday, 19th June, 2024.
The process does not stop there. The real action kicks off on Monday, 1st July, 2024, with the initiation of processing for Inter-Regional reposting applications to the Headquarters. These repostings are slated to take effect from the beginning of the following academic year, specifically September, 2024.
However, it is paramount to adhere to the set timelines. Regional Directors are tasked with compiling and forwarding lists of all staff who have received assurance within their respective regions to the GES Headquarters. This compilation must reach the headquarters latest by Wednesday, 31st July, 2024. A stern reminder accompanies this directive: any documents received after this stipulated date will not be entertained.
It is important to note that the journey towards reposting ends with the approval and issuance of a reposting letter by the Director-General. Only after this official stamp of approval can a staff member be released for reposting.
