In a public release dated June 28, 2025, and signed by Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations for GES, the Service clarified that although the Honourable Minister for Education has indeed announced plans to recruit approximately 50,000 graduate teachers and 10,000 non-teaching staff, the official recruitment process has not yet commenced.
GES emphasized that once the recruitment process officially begins, the public will be duly informed through verified GES communication channels such as the official website, national newspapers, and other credible media outlets.
The statement strongly reiterated that all GES recruitment exercises are entirely free, warning that no individuals or groups are authorized to charge fees for recruitment, processing, or issuance of appointment letters. Any such demand for payment is fraudulent and should be reported immediately to the nearest police station.
Furthermore, GES cautioned the general public, especially prospective applicants, about fake appointment letters being circulated on social media. These false documents are part of a broader scheme to deceive unsuspecting individuals. The public is urged to ignore these fraudulent claims and rely solely on verified information from the Ghana Education Service.
