Graduates eagerly awaiting updates on their recruitment status with the Ghana Education Service (GES) have expressed growing concerns as the official GES recruitment portal (gespromotions.gov.gh) has remained offline for several weeks. The portal, which serves as the primary platform for accessing recruitment statuses, appointment letters, and other updates, has been inaccessible since late December 2024, leaving applicants in a state of uncertainty.
For weeks now, applicants have been unable to log in to check their recruitment updates or access appointment letters, creating a significant bottleneck in the process. While GES is yet to issue an official statement explaining the reason for the downtime, discussions among stakeholders suggest that technical updates or administrative challenges may be to blame.
While the extended downtime of the GES graduate recruitment portal is undoubtedly frustrating, there is still hope for a resolution in the coming weeks. The recruitment process has always been a phased approach, and GES’s commitment to ensuring fairness and transparency remains evident through the assurances given by the former Director-General.
As graduates await the portal’s restoration, they are encouraged to remain patient and optimistic. The GES continues to work behind the scenes to finalize recruitment processes and address pending issues.
