The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced a one-day training workshop for newly recruited graduate teachers. The workshop is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Adisadel College Canterbury Hall in Cape Coast. The event will commence at 9:00 AM.
According to an official letter signed by Mr. Emmanuel Essuman, Regional Director of Education for the Central Region, the workshop aims to orient the newly appointed teachers on the latest trends and policies in the Ghana Education Service. This initiative is part of GES’s efforts to ensure a smooth transition for new teachers into the education system and to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills for their roles.
Metro, Municipal, and District Directors have been instructed to release the newly recruited graduate teachers allocated to their respective districts to attend this important session. Heads of second-cycle schools involved have also been informed to facilitate the process.
Newly recruited graduate teachers are urged to take full advantage of this opportunity, as it promises to provide valuable insights into their responsibilities within GES and the broader education framework in Ghana.
For further inquiries, teachers may contact their respective district directors or the Regional Education Office in Cape Coast.
