The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has issued an urgent alert to the general public, cautioning against a fake recruitment flyer that is currently circulating online.
The fraudulent flyer (see image below) falsely claims that GNPC is recruiting 510 new staff to enhance a 24-hour shift system in the corporation. It includes fake contact details such as a Gmail address and a WhatsApp number, requesting interested applicants to submit their CVs and degree certificates.
GNPC has made it clear that this recruitment notice is completely false. According to an official update, GNPC does not conduct recruitment through Gmail accounts or WhatsApp. Any communication claiming otherwise should be treated as fraudulent.

“The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has NOT issued any such recruitment notice. The flyer currently circulating online claiming we are recruiting 510 new staff is completely FALSE.”
They further emphasized that:
- All official recruitment announcements are made only via GNPC’s official website and verified social media pages.
- The public should be vigilant and avoid falling victim to such scams.
- Do not share personal information or make any payments to anyone promising job placements at GNPC.
